UN Global Compact
Positive impact on the planet and society is part of Crystal Travel's philosophy. We are committed to greater equity and a sustainable future. Crystal Travel voluntarily participates in environmental projects such as UN Global Compact Networks - a responsible business initiative that aligns its strategies and operations with human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and takes actions that promote social goals and the implementation of the SDGs.
Ecological Crystal Travel
One of our biggest environmental goals is to reduce our ecological footprint and respect the natural and cultural environment. For more than 4 years, we have been constantly looking to implement methods at Crystal Travel that reduce our environmental footprint. For example, we have reduced our travel to client meetings to train connections and other ecological means of transport. In addition, all our vehicles have been replaced with electric vehicles.
Internally, we strive to make our daily work environment more environmentally friendly. We use LED lighting and a main switch for our equipment, so we can turn off the power with just one press of 100%. We fill our coffee with recyclable coffee tabs, eliminating disposable products as much as possible.
Ecological Limousine Fleet
To make our customers' short trips more personal and comfortable, we have recently invested in a fleet of limousines. These are electronically powered and do their part to reduce greenhouse gas. This fleet is powered by 100% solar electricity to stay as green as possible in this area as well.
TeamTrees and Seas
In the highly contaminating travel industry, it is even more important to support ecological projects. We are aware that our industry still has a lot of room for improvement. We are constantly looking for ways to compensate for this. Therefore, we are even more proud to be able to support TeamTrees and TeamSeas on a monthly basis. Both projects were founded by a Youtuber from America with the mission to save and restore the environment. The motto of TeamTrees is: "Every dollar plants one tree" and with TeamSeas we stand behind their motto: "One dollar is one pound less trash in the ocean".
CO2 flight compensation
Years ago, airlines started to reduce CO2 emissions with smaller projects. You can also make your contribution through us. At your request, we can pay an offset to the airline for each booking in order to support their sustainable projects. This reduces your personal footprint and that of your company at the same time.
