Sustainable Crystal Travel
Crystal Travel is improving its footprint with solar power, electric vehicle fleet, green donations and internal adjustments.
Already more than 6 years ago, we started to create documents only in electronic form. With this adaptation, we have already been able to reduce our footprint.
But now we have invested in a fleet of electric limousines. So our customers can book a limousine for domestic travel, which are 100% solar powered. So you as a customer can also make an impact.
TeamTrees and TeamSeas. We personally support TeamTrees and TeamSeas on a monthly basis. Both were founded by a Youtuber from America with the goal to save and restore the environment. With TeamTrees you can plant a tree with every franc and with TeamSeas 500g of waste is fished out of the oceans with every franc.
Internally, we have also made many adjustments. We have switched completely to LEDs and have positioned a main switch per PC at each socket so that we can switch off the power completely overnight or when not in use. In addition, we have only purchased recycled coffee caps.
Such projects are a way for us to strike a balance, as our industry still has room for improvement in this view.

The voucher is valid for 2 years. Cash payment is not possible. The voucher can be used as payment in all Crystal Travel stores.
Corona Test Center
Our new department "Crystal Travel Test". We offer our own Corona Antigen Test Center in the Zurich branch.
We offer our customers the possibility to be tested in our branch. For an event or occasion, we test at your request at your location, whether at home or in the office.
Through this department Crystal Travel Test you can do both the antigen rapid test and PCR test.
You can order the PCR test online via our website, by phone or by mail. This will be sent to you by mail with all the information. After the test has been performed, you can return it by mail free of charge. The express shipping costs will be covered by us. The cost is CHF 166.00.
You will receive your test result from us by email approximately 24 hours after arrival at the laboratory.
For larger orders, for occasions and events, our specialists can come by to handle the processing on site. We bring the tests directly to the laboratory and you receive the results the following day. This saves you long waiting times and unnecessary trips to the test center.
Price increases
The prices of airline tickets as well as rental vehicles increased due to the current situation.
Due to the staff shortage, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and thus the increase in the price of kerosene, airlines may charge higher prices for airline tickets. Certain fare classes are no longer available as a booking option. This means that with some airlines only the Full Fare tariff is available for booking. Prices are also considerably more expensive for bookings made at short notice.
Rental vehicle dealers were forced to reduce their inventory during the pandemic and now production bottlenecks are making it difficult to make up for this. With up to 70% price increase must be expected and a low availability. Affected are especially, popular vacation destinations such as Spain, Portugal, Italy or France.
Changed entry regulations CH
The entry requirements for Switzerland have been relaxed. The 3G rule now applies.
As of Saturday, January 22, vaccinated and recovered persons no longer have to present a negative PCR test or rapid antigen test before entering Switzerland. The entry test for non-vaccinated or non-recovered persons will be retained.
Due to the limited testing capacity in Switzerland, a second test after three to four days after arrival will also be waived in the future. Thus, the 3G rule applies for entry into Switzerland.
The (PLF) Passenger Locator Form must now only be completed by persons entering Switzerland by air or long-distance bus.
PCR test new at Crystal Travel
Since June 15, 2021, you can easily order your PCR test from us to your home or business.
The order of the PCR test can be made online on our website as well as by phone or e-mail. The tests will be sent to you by mail with all the information. You do the test comfortably at home or in the office by spitting into the test tube. After you have done the test you can send it back free of charge by mail - we take care of the express shipping! The test has been officially certified by Swissmedic and is therefore recognized by every country.
In this way, we enable our customers to avoid long waiting times and unnecessary trips to the test center.
You will receive the test result by e-mail approx. 24 hours after receipt. The cost is CHF 166.00.

Due to increased demand for business travel, our staff will be back to work 100% from 01 October 2021.
